Carpentry came first at Timberscapes: its founder kept being asked for decking and limestone walls, moved into landscaping in the late 1990s and finished an apprenticeship in the trade. The Peppermint Grove business now designs and constructs gardens for homes and businesses, and can handle the initial feature survey, design drafting, engineering and council approval. Construction covers decking, paving, exposed aggregate, garden beds, fencing, carports, pergolas and alfresco areas, patios, screening and feature walls, lighting, barbecues and fire pits, entertainment areas, and pools and water features. Natural materials are favoured, from jarrah decking to weathered limestone feature walls, front yard work aims for a welcoming entrance, and designs can be shaped around privacy.
