Sustainable Garden Design Perth

Landscape designer Andrew Beck leads Sustainable Garden Design Perth, a contemporary design and construction firm working out of Fremantle and building gardens suited to Perth's coastal plain. Each project runs from design through to build under one managed process. Planting draws on local native plants, architectural exotics and edible species, and gardens follow waterwise principles for irrigation and soil amendment. Built elements include limestone and natural stone garden walls, timber screens and fencing, timber and recycled decking, outdoor rooms, garden paving, washed concrete and liquid limestone for courtyards and terraces, and pergolas. Water work covers streams, waterwalls, native ponds and water bowls, and the firm designs and installs greywater recycling and subsurface irrigation. Vertical gardens, green walls, vegetable and herb gardens and fruit trees are also part of the mix. Its gardens have been featured in Scoop Outdoor and Garden and the Sunday Times Home Magazine.
